What’s Opening, Closing, and Brewing in Naples: July 2025 Business Buzz

🚨 What’s Opening, Closing, and Brewing in Naples: July 2025 Business Buzz

Naples is never boring — and this month proves it. From fresh concepts and unexpected closures to a few surprise comebacks, the city’s dining and business scene keeps evolving. Whether you're hungry for upscale Asian or still mourning your favorite BBQ spot, here's what’s new, gone, or brewing in Naples this July.

🍴 Open for Business

1. Amber Cove (Formerly KC American Bistro)
After 15 years in the local dining game, KC American Bistro is out — and Amber Cove is in. The new restaurant, led by the same seasoned chef, is shifting focus to globally inspired coastal cuisine in the same North Naples location. Think seafood-forward, island-tinged plates in a refreshed, upscale setting.

2. Blackbird Modern Asian
Flying into the heart of Naples is Blackbird Modern Asian, a stylish fusion restaurant bringing elevated Southeast Asian flavors to Tamiami Trail North. If you’re craving sushi, dim sum, or Instagram-worthy cocktails in a sleek space — this one’s a must-try.

3. Café Seabreeze
Davis Boulevard just got a little breezier. Café Seabreeze is now open, offering casual breakfast and lunch options with plenty of outdoor seating. Expect local coffee, hearty sandwiches, and chill vibes near Celebration Park.

4. Sweet Sips & Caffeine Fixes
East Naples continues its glow-up with a wave of new businesses including:

  • Green Cup Café Naples – a plant-based smoothie and coffee shop

  • Kwench Juice Café – smoothies, juices, and bowls with a wellness twist

  • Cafe Ellie’s – charming all-day café with strong coffee and sweeter energy

🚫 Closed Their Doors

1. Duck Donuts
Quack… and it’s gone. Duck Donuts has permanently closed its Naples location. Known for customizable warm donuts, the closure surprised locals — and leaves a sprinkle-sized hole in the Naples sweet scene.

2. Black Eyed Pig BBQ
One of Naples' best-kept BBQ secrets is calling it quits. After years of serving up smoky ribs and pulled pork, Black Eyed Pig BBQ is shutting down. Get your comfort food fix elsewhere — or start hoarding napkins and sauce while supplies last.

3. Bambusa Bar & Grill
After years as a beloved neighborhood spot, Bambusa officially closed in February. Its replacement? Old Town Saloon, which brings a more traditional bar-and-grill vibe to the Goodlette-Frank Road plaza. R.I.P. drag shows and karaoke — hello, honky tonk.

4. Other recent closures include:

  • Lime Tree Café

  • Asian House

  • Sushi Thai Too on Davis Blvd
Each closed for a mix of lease issues, retirement, or lack of traffic — reminding us that Naples’ food scene is both thriving and unforgiving.

📍 On the Horizon

Still Coming Soon (According to Permits and Leases):

  • La Morenita Mexican: A potential opening on 41 East

  • East Naples Brewery: More craft beer for the east side

  • Pizza and empanada joints: Several new Latin-inspired fast-casual spots are finalizing buildouts

Naples is clearly riding a wave of growth eastward — so if you haven’t driven down Davis Blvd or Bayshore in a while, now’s the time.
