The Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 people for shoplifting over the course of three days

Collier County– 18 individuals, six of whom were convicted felons, were apprehended by Collier County Sheriff Deputies throughout the course of a three-day theft operation.
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), one of the thieves accompanied by a minor attempted to steal merchandise valued at thousands of dollars from the same establishment.
David Dominguez allegedly brought a minor to Walmart, 9885 Collier Boulevard, Naples, in order to steal an iPhone case, according to the CCSO.
Dominguez is allegedly charged with felony petty larceny and assimilating to a minor’s delinquency, as reported by CCSO.
CCSO reports that Dominguez was serving an 18-month robation sentence for multiple prior retail robberies at the time of his arrest.Jeffrey Maynor, an additional convicted felon with a lengthy history of criminal arrests, allegedly bit and clawed two deputies while they attempted to apprehend him, resulting in minor bleeding and lacerations to the deputies’ hands, according to the Sheriff’s Office.According to the CCSO, deputies discovered several controlled substances without a prescription during a search.
According to Fox News Rebecca Weiss, Maynor was charged with felony petty larceny, battery on a law enforcement officer x2, and possession of a controlled substance x2.
Two days after allegedly stealing batteries valued at several thousand dollars from a Home Depot, Jonathan Deak entered the same establishment and made an attempt to steal tools worth more than one thousand dollars, according to CCSO.
The deputies subsequently apprehended Deak.
