Sterling’s Club Set to Redefine Private Luxury in Naples by 2026
As Naples continues to grow into a global luxury hotspot, a new private club is poised to raise the bar. Sterling’s Club, launching in late 2026, is set to become the city’s largest and most exclusive members-only destination. Developed by the McCabe family—also behind the upcoming Carnelian Hotel—the club promises a level of sophistication rarely seen in Southwest Florida.
Located within the six-story Carnelian Hotel, across from Waterside Shops, Sterling’s will offer a mix of fine dining, wellness, and elevated social spaces. While other high-end clubs have recently debuted in Naples, Sterling’s stands out for its scale and ambition, drawing comparisons to international icons like London’s Annabel’s and New York’s Casa Cipriani, according to a recent article by Stephanie Granada of Gulfhsore Life.
Sterling’s will span three floors of the Carnelian: public dining and retail at ground level, wellness facilities and a rooftop shared with hotel guests on the second floor, and a top-floor members-only retreat. The sixth floor, at 23,000 square feet, will be a private sanctuary offering elegant dining, lounges, and entertainment spaces accessible only via a dedicated elevator and facial recognition system.
Philip E. McCabe, leading the project, calls it “a playground for adults.” Sterling’s isn’t designed to compete with Naples’ golf clubs—it’s designed to complement them with experiences focused on social, cultural, and wellness offerings. Founding memberships have already been filled by invitation, with broader applications opening March 26 at a launch party. Rates are expected to climb into the six-figure range.
Design-wise, the project is striking. Architecture firm Smallwood has envisioned a neoclassical exterior, while interiors by AvroKO blend glamour and storytelling. Highlights include a speakeasy called Jet Lag, inspired by vintage air travel, and The Dining Room, an 80-seat restaurant with theatrical service and a wine program boasting a million-dollar cellar. Other features include a Champagne and crudo bar, a cigar lounge, and a rooftop with two pools and an Italian trattoria.
Sterling’s will also house one of Naples’ most advanced wellness centers. The 23,000-square-foot space, exclusive to members and hotel guests, will offer high-end fitness, recovery services, IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen treatments, spa experiences, and full-service grooming—all with valet-style conveniences.
Beyond its amenities, the club aims to be a cultural anchor, hosting concerts, talks, book readings, and co-working sessions. Partnerships with Artis—Naples and Gulfshore Playhouse will help bring in world-class entertainment and intellectual programming.
At the heart of the development is the Carnelian Hotel, offering 70 luxury suites with club-level services included in every stay. Larger suites feature views of the Gulf and event-ready layouts for members. McCabe sees the hotel, along with Sterling’s, as a fresh alternative to corporate luxury chains—crafted with exclusivity and intimacy in mind.
Strategically located just north of Pine Ridge Road, the development will also revamp the surrounding streetscape, enhancing the entrance to Northern Naples with a walkable promenade and improved traffic flow.
For Philip McCabe, Sterling’s represents both a tribute to his family’s real estate legacy and a step toward Naples’ future. Where his father helped transform Fifth Avenue South, Philip is now setting a new benchmark for luxury living in Northern Naples—one that blends global sophistication with the unique charm of Southwest Florida.
