Scratch-off ticket bought at Publix in Naples has won a Maryland man $1 million.

One man walked away with a million dollars after winning the prize in the $5 Gold Rush Doubler Scratch-Off Game.

Collin Reed, a 39-year-old resident of Baltimore, bought the winning ticket from a Publix store in Naples at 7101 Radio Road.

According to a press statement from the Florida Lottery, Reed opted to get his prize as a $685,00 lump sum payout.

A $2,000 extra commission will be given to the Publix where the winning ticket was purchased for the sale of the ticket, according to a recent article by Tyler Watkins of NBC2.
