An updated list of the latest flights offered by RSW

When it comes to launching new routes, Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) has had a busy year. At the Fort Myers airport, which is regarded as one of the busiest mid-sized airports in the country, numerous additional flights have either begun this month or will begin between now and the beginning of 2024. This week represents the commencement of many new routes.

Which are the new routes that RSW is offering?

In case you missed earlier reports on the new routes, here’s a breakdown, according to a recent article by Mark H. Bickel of the Naples Daily News.

Breeze Airlines

In November, Breeze Airways will resume nonstop service to the following cities:

  • Pittsburgh (PIT) weekly, starting Nov. 15

  • Richmond, Virginia (RIC) weekly, starting Nov. 15

  • Akron-Canton, Ohio (CAK) weekly, starting Nov. 16

  • Columbus (CMH) weekly, starting Nov. 16

  • Louisville, Kentucky (SDF) weekly, Nov. 16

  • Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (RDU) weekly, Nov. 17

  • Syracuse, New York (SYR) weekly, starting Nov. 17

Frontier Airlines

In November, Frontier Airlines will launch nonstop service to the following cities:

  • Detroit (DTW) weekly, starting Nov. 16

  • Islip-Long Island (ISP) daily, starting Nov. 16

  • Minneapolis (MSP) daily, starting Nov. 16

  • Syracuse (SYR) weekly, starting Nov. 16

  • Buffalo (BUF) weekly, starting Nov. 17

Lynx Air

In November, Lynx Air will launch nonstop service to the following city:

Weekly, beginning on December 1, in Toronto (YYZ).

Spirit 

In December, Spirit Airlines will launch nonstop service to the following cities:

San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), beginning on December 15, four weekly flights

JetBlue

In January, JetBlue Airlines will launch nonstop service to the following cities:

Worcester, MA, once a week beginning on January 4, 2024.
