Based on Trip Advisor ratings and TikTok hashtags, SIXT examined 40 of the most well-liked first-time solo travel destinations in the United States and ranked them from most to least popular.

SIXT reports that social media has embraced the solo travel revolution, with travel tips videos going viral and the hashtag #solotravel receiving an astounding 3.3 billion views on TikTok. This has also had a significant impact on search patterns, as evidenced by the 350% spike in searches for “first-time solo travel” over the previous month and the 600% and 300% increases in searches for “what solo travel teaches you” over the previous 12 months, respectively.
