Billionaire David Hoffmann Buys $85M Waterfront Mansion in Naples' Port Royal

Billionaire businessman David Hoffmann has just added another jewel to his expanding Naples portfolio—a jaw-dropping $85 million estate in the elite waterfront enclave of Port Royal.

Located at 575 Admiralty Parade W., the newly built 17,202-square-foot residence sits on 2¼ lots and boasts 250 feet of direct Naples Bay frontage. The mansion includes eight bedrooms, 10½ bathrooms, and every imaginable luxury—fitting for one of the area’s most high-profile investors.

This purchase solidifies Hoffmann’s deepening ties to Naples. His company, The Hoffmann Family of Companies, first entered the market in 2015 with a $75 million investment across seven properties and a parking lot. Since then, the empire has expanded dramatically. Today, the company owns over 100 national brands and operates in 30 countries, employing 9,000 people.

Outside of real estate, Hoffmann’s reach extends into shipping, dairy, media, and energy. Recent acquisitions include Canadian firm CDN Controls, Chicago-based Oberweis Dairy, and several Michigan ferry and cruise lines. His media expansion has been equally aggressive, with 14 outlets acquired since 2022 and a major stake in Lee Enterprises, making the group a key player in local journalism.

The timing of the $85 million transaction is also notable. It follows another Port Royal mega-deal—three contiguous properties that sold for a combined $225 million. Both purchases highlight the enduring demand for high-end real estate in Naples, especially in waterfront communities like Port Royal.

As Hoffmann continues to invest across industries, his latest move reinforces Naples not just as a paradise, but as a headquarters of influence.
