A body was found in Golden Gate canal

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office reported that a body was discovered in a canal in Golden Gate on Friday morning, according to a recent article by FOX 4.

The remains were found near the intersection of Coronado Parkway and 55th St SW.

Authorities have not yet provided any additional details regarding the individual’s identity or the circumstances surrounding their death.

UPDATE 

Fox 4 Community Correspondent Stephen Pimpo reports that, according to investigators, the death does not seem to be suspicious.
